The training module for food establishments dealing with FOG disposal and covers as to which legislation and standards are applicable, how to choose the most appropriate FOG removal equipment and which suppliers/manufacturers are reputable and offer advice based on a case by case basis.

Content of the training module

Attendees will be educated on the importance of appropriate FOG disposal considerations along with understanding of:

  • A legislation review;
  • A review of technical standards available for FOG removal devices to size and select;
  • An interactive session on choosing the most appropriate Grease Management System based on case study examples.

Outcomes of the training module

Attendees will complete the training module with an improved awareness of FOG legislation, standards and the correct selection of the most appropriate grease management systems for food establishments.

Target Audience: FSE Owners and FSE Chain management.

All attendees will receive a WRc Academy certificate of completion.
